Cardiff Reef is a popular surf spot in Cardiff that produces waves both professional and novice that surfers enjoy year-round. Surfing at Cardiff Reef has progressed from just a few surfers in the ’50s to becoming one of the most popular surfing spots in San Diego County. While Cardiff has its own zip code (92007), it’s officially part of the Encinitas Town Government (92024). Cardiff is historically known as a popular surfing destination that offers an eclectic small-town feel.
